BALI / INDONESIA
4th – 5th September 2017
Hi folks and welcome back to the baliwaves (Stoked to be here since in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical sufing holiday destination of Bali.
Alright so here’s a handful of photos from where we surfed at yesterday over on the East Coast at Keramas. We were hoping to see a lot less people in the water with the on shore wind but had to settle for 20, which for these days is not too bad. As it shows wave height was in the 2-4ft class and there were a few clean and glassy waves bowling up on the inside from time to time. It was a mainly cloudy morning as it reflects in our photos, low light is not the best for moving targets.
This morning the 5th and it’s just gone 5.15AM and almost time to wake everyone up and go hunt some waves. My late afternoon surf check on the Outer Reefs yesterday was showing a nice boost in wave height with double head high sets rolling through Middle Reef and even a few bigger ones. Surfing conditions were pretty tricky out there with the off shore SE Trade Wind hitting gusts of up to 25knot.
So stay tuned to the baliwaves for more news and info through out the morning via our on site Twitter and Instagram feeds. Have a nice Tuesday.
Another important issue for the locals here in Bali especially with winter going down in the Southern Hemisphere and the season for super flu in Australia. Please don’t bring flu’s and virus strains with you on holidays. Make sure you get to the Doctor first before getting on the plane and infecting all the passengers and then maybe infecting everyone you come in contact with here in Bali. You wouldn’t go to work with the Flu so don’t bring it to Bali please.
