BALI / INDONESIA
7th – 8th September 2017
Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on every sane surfers first choice tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok ok, so hows these photos we shot down at Indonesia’s premier surfing location yesterday, not bad or what. Using our 1000mm lens certainly does make the difference and not to mention all the red hot surfing talent on tap of course. As it shows wave height was well into the double head high range on the set waves with super clean conditions thanks to the ESE wind. With the tide rising the Main Peak and Temple sections were fired up and crowd wise it wasn’t too bad except for a few kooks that should have been up in the warungs watching instead of creating havoc out in the line up.
Weather wise it was just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island, except for an unusual amount of small jelly fish in the water.
Today the 8th and we were back here surfing on Bali’s West Coast again. But with a significant drop in wave height we were lucky to score some 2-3 footers close to home with a nice clean off shore wind. I’ll transfer and edit some of those photos up for ya’s asap.
Weather wise right now at 2.12PM the mercury is still sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 72%. Wind direction is now coming out of the SE at 12-16knot.

Ok friends of Bali that’s me for now but stay tuned to the baliwaves cause we will be out there surfing all through the weekend and will be up dating all through it.
Another important issue for the locals here in Bali especially with winter going down in the Southern Hemisphere and the season for super flu in Australia. Please don’t bring flu’s and virus strains with you on holidays. Make sure you get to the Doctor first before getting on the plane and infecting all the passengers and then maybe infecting everyone you come in contact with here in Bali. You wouldn’t go to work with the Flu so don’t bring it to Bali please.
