Hi surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (bringing you a little piece of Bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and our best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali,
Mt Agung up date, nothing has changed except a French fellow hiked up the volcano yesterday and posted some video’s of the crater showing a few wisps of smoke or steam. He survived, but volcano’s are volcano’s and ya never can tell I guess… even though it’s been predicted by volcano and facebook experts to erupt any day now for the last few weeks or so.
Surfwise and for our Sunday Session this morning my boy and I headed down to Uluwatu, knowing that it was going to be pretty small and powerless at pretty much everywhere else. Wave height today as it shows in our photos we snapped was in the chest to well over head high class or 2-4ft. The best waves were to be had on Temple’s and the Main Peak. Low numbers in the water and it looks like being that way for awhile yet after all the Aussie media blow outs a few weeks back re Mt Agung. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy early this morning before the SE Trade wind kicked in, blowing clean off shore between Uluwatu and Kuta Reef.
Weather wise right now at 3.13PM the temperature is on 29 Celsius with Humidity level at 74%. Win direction is coming out of the SE at 10-14knot+
Swell situation, don’t quote me but it looks like we should see a little bit of swell relief with a snall pulse on the 11th and then a nice medium sized swell hitting our island on the 12th through to the 13th.
