Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so how about a little bit of West Coast to mix it up again today. Our current photo gallery was shot here on the best coast yesterday morning and as it shows there was no shortage of barrels. Wave height was solid 3-4ft with a nice and clean off shore wind that held out through till around 9.45AM. Plenty of time for us early birds to get in and get out right. Water quality was a bit iffy with all the rain that has fallen the last couple of days, but it was mainly just the mixture of fresh and salt without the bad stuff. Crowd wise there would have been around 10 – 12 surfers in the water so not too much waiting around for waves.
Today the 24th and out 7.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to be still in the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Middle Reef might have been picking up just a little more size with the low tide. Surfing conditions were clean enough with the wind coming light out of the N-NE.
Ketut has volunteered to head back up to the same location as yesterday to catch the morning off shore wind. He has called through calling more chest to head high plus action, light off shore wind and a light crowd to match. So stay tuned right here to the one and only original baliwaves website and we’ll keep you in the loop.
Weather wise outside today it’s been lightly overcast and no rain has fallen around the Tuban area, or flooding for that matter. Temperature wise right now the mercury is sitting on a warm 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 90%. Wind direction right now at 11.30AM is coming out fo the West at 6-11knot.
I think there are still some flooding issues up in the North Legian to SEminyak area at the moment so try and avoid it if you can. I’m going out for a drive after lunch so keep an eye on our Twitter feed (@baliwaves).
ABSOLUTELY NO FLOODING HERE IN TUBAN !!!
I’d also like to let you all know that if your interested in hitting G-Lnad this year make sure you contact us first and we’ll help you score a 50% discount ! click here to get this deal
