BALI / INDONESIA
17th April 2018
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and hard to beat up close views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and the gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so this mornings 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing that wave height had taken a pretty good knock in size over night. Between Kuta Reef and Airport Left on the mid tide (rising) was showing wave height to be in the 2-4ft class with maybe the off double head high set rocking through on Middle Reef. Kuta Reef and Airports were looking a little better as more water filled in but alas wave height was also on the wane.
As it shows in our latest photo gallery we’ve got for you today our man was on the location up at Espresso Land and there were some nice A frames peeling off out the fron and few slightly bigger and cleaner rights down along the beach a little further as well. A little washy while the tide was still a touch low but as it shows did straighten out with more water.
Weather wise today it’s been another mostly hot and sunny day with a few early morning clouds drifting through. Right now at 4.00Pm the temperature is still a very warm 31 degree’s Celsius, with the Humidity on 71%. Wind direction was light and variable befort dedicating to the ESE around 10.30AM.
Tomorrow should bring us more good weather and waves, maube just a fracko smaller than today and we will be out there again hooking into some of them. So make sure you keep an eye here on the baliwaves to see what’s really going down here in Bali.
Our Fitness Guru Clive from “Ask Clive” has also sent us through another great article on keeping in shape and staying paddle fit, so make sure you check out Clive’s fitness tips.
