BALI / INDONESIA
4th -5th April 2018
Hello again everyone ands thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you up to date with Bali’s surfing scene since back in 1999) for ouir latest news and the best possible close up views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar that’s got something for the whole family. Not to mention the gate way to Indonesia’s surfing playgrounds, Bali.
Just a quick heads up, hopefully it won’t be long and we will be offering everyone all the Bali surfing web cams as well as the daily photos and surf reports here on the baliwaves, so stick around we’ll have it all in one neat and tidy package.
Alright then, our latest photo gallery features the waves of Keramas over on Bali’s East Coast. Our man was over there just as the tide was starting to run in and when he phoned through at 8.30AM he called only 10 surfers in the water with well over head high waves and clean off shore wind. But as I found out later, come 9.00AM and the tide starting to fill in again he reckoned half of the JPSA hit the water in one lump turning it into a bit of a circus as usual.
Today the 5th and we made the call to drive back up the West coast and hopefully score some easy going left and rights without the crowds. And that’s pretty well much what we got, Wave height was in the head to almost double head high range with clean and glassy conditions. We turned up a bit later than usual so it wasn’t long after that the wind started to swing to the SE.Even though surfing conditions were still clean until we left to head home at 1.30PM.
Weather wise there was a few drops of rain fall here in Tuban but by the time we were half way up the coast it was all blue sky.
Ok then that’s it from us it’s time for an afternoon surf check and a cold sunset beer on the beach. Hope to see you all here in Bali soon !
