BALI / INDONESIA
7th – 8th April 2018
Hello surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report since back in 1999) for the Sunday Session and our latest news and best possible close up views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and the gateway to Indonesi’s surfing playgrounds, Bali.
Ok so I guess the cat is finally out of the bag, the last few days we have been scoring big time over on the East side of the island at Serangan. For some reason or another the last 2 days it’s been almost like a ghost town with no kooks on long boards or even a sniff of a surf school.
So we thought we’d push our luck again today, the waves were going off still in the head to double head high plus range and super clean conditions. But the wrong boards and surf schools turned up mid morning. Still there was plenty of waves for everyone and I know me and my crew certainly got our fair share.
Weather wise it’s been hot hot hot here on the holiday island and right now at 5.00PM the temp is still a warm 30 degree’s Celsius with the wind now coming fresh out of the East at 7-10knot.
Time for a new location again tomorrow so keep one eye on the baliwaves through out the day for more news and up dates as it happens via our Twitter and instagram feeds on site.
I’m pretty sure the Keramas Boardriders surfing contest went off with a bang today as well hopefully we’ll get some news on the comp shortly. baliwaves.com was happy to support the boys with a best tube ride cash bonus and trophy.
