Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (your eye’s on the waves here in Bali / Indonesia since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions. From right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so this morning we were expecting just a slight drop in wave height height and that’s exactly what went down. We had to go back to Canggu again today seeing as though it was so good yesterday. I was just going to shoot photos, not surf so it’s the best option in these kinda conditions with the guarantee of locals out there ripping it apart, hence good photos.
After negotiating through some gnarly morning traffic an hour later and we were on the scene, 8.30AM. To find wave height still in the 2-4ft class but not quite as consistent as the day before. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy through until around 10.00AM when the wind swung around to the West, and is still there now at 2.15PM. Just for the record it took me 1.5 hrs to drive back to Tuban around 20kms away leaving at 10.00AM
Weather wise there was some light cloud around early but that cleared away by mid morning and it’s been just hot and sunny since. Temperature wise right now it’s 31 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 74%. Wind is West at 1.8.8km/h.
The next tide today will be a 0.2mtr Low at 5.33PM

Looking at the Swell Forecast it’s showing another slight drop in size tomorrow, not much, just a touch. Then tomorrow afternoon boosting back up through into Saturday morning and then backing off through Saturday afternoon and into Sunday. Then smaller waves Monday into Wednesday before we see some more swell smacking in Bali, Java and the Southern end of Sumatra.
