BALI iNDONESIA
11th -12th September 2018
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping Bali fresh in your minds for the last 20 years) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions. From right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so since I last had a chat with you lot I’ve since loaded up a fresh photo up dates straight outta G-Land, thanks to our friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp and don’t forget we are handing out a nice little 15% discount to any of our friends that contact us first, so drop us a line and save yourself some big bucks.
This latest photo gallery we shot down on the bukit at another one of our favorite locations of Balangan. We love this sport because it’s got something for everyone. The waves are not always perfect but there’s always the chance to score a perfect wave. Plus the locals down there are always friendly pretty much like all the Balinese everywhere in Bali.
As it shows wave height yesterday was in the 2-4ft class (chest to well over head) with clean and smooth surfing conditions thanks to the ESE off shore Trade wind that was blowing. Crowd wise there were only around a dozen when we first turned up at 7.00AM while the tide was still running in. But by midday and the tide filling in it was a little bit of a free for all, anything goes show with maybe 80 surfers spread from the point down through to the end section. But we were just about ready to pack up by then anyway.
Weather wise there was a bit of cloud passing through but all in all it was mostly hot and sunny here on the holiday island.
This morning the 12th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height in the 2-4ft class. That was between Kuta Reef and Airport Left while the tide was still running up. Middle Reef was picking up the bigger set waves as per usual. Surfing conditions at the time were fairly clean and glassy with the wind still light and variable. But since then has turned fresh out of the SSW.
Weather wise outside here in South Kuta it’s another hot and sunny day for the lucky people here on holiday in Bali.
The next tide today will be a 0.1 reef exposing Low at 5.34PM
Ok crew have a nice day what ever you are up to and stay tuned right here to the one and only original baliwaves surf report website, (watch out for baliwaves imposters 🙂
