Hello crew and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping in touch with Bali’s surfing scene since back in 1999) for today’s SUNDAY SESSION. With our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright alright well as you more than likely already know wave height has been slowly backing off the last few days and yesterday the 30th was no different. As it shows in our latest photo gallery today wave height up at Canggu was only just in the waist to head high class. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy for the morning session before the wind swung more to the West around 9.30AM. Small waves at Canggu also bring big crowds.
Today the 31st and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was only just showing waves in the 1-2ft range breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with hardly a breath of wind at the time. Since then it looks to me like the wind has swung to the SSE-SE to give us a little taste of our approaching Dry Season.
Weather wise outside right now we have a mostly clear and sunny blue sky above us, as Sundays should be right. Keep that sunscreen handy today if your heading for the beach because it’s going to be a warm out there today.
The next tide today will be a 1.0mtr Low at 2.02PM
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is showing pretty much exactly the same as what we have in the way of waves today, and if the wind forecast holds true some more SSE-SE wind.
Longer Range Surf Forecast is showing a nice medium sized swell in transit to Indo and if everything stays on track should be lighting up our reef breaks on the 4th – 5th of April, and more on the way behind it.
