BALI / INDONESIA
4th – 5th May 2019
Hello surfers and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (bringing you the best of Bali since right back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so just a quick one seeing as though it’s Sunday and most of you won’t even be seeing this until your back in the office tomorrow anyway aye. But just like the photos show it has been absolutely pumping over on Bali’s East Coast the last couple of days. Yesterday we shot 1000 photos but I’ve only had time to look through the first 100 and grab these ones to show you. I’ve also got some pretty good video footage to edit up so please sit tight and it’ll all happen (between surfs).
Today we went back over to a little know location on the East Coast as we had it to our selves on the way home from Keramas yesterday. But this morning wave height had dropped off a touch and with a big 2.5mtr High it was fat as. So after a quick surf there we ducked up to take a look at the Legian beach breaks. It wasn’t too bad on the beachy but very crowded probably because it is Sunday and everyone’s day off (except mine haha) But we did get a few waves before calling it a day.
Weather wise it’s full “zinc cream” stuff out there in the sun. Bloody hot. Early morning light and variable wind before the ESE-SE Trade wind kicked in mid morning.
Tomorrow’s another day and we;ll be back out there on the trail trying to get some good ones. So make sure you stay tuned to the baliwaves and our Instagram and Twitter daily “Bali morning surf n weather” up dates
Surf Outlook, out we should see a slight bump in wave height on the 6th then fading on the 7th. Then late on the 8th a more solid swell should smack into Bali that should keep building into a moderate to large swell by the 10th.
