BALI / INDONESIA
27th July 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Hey ok this is just going to be a quick one seeing as though it’s Saturday night already. But anyway here’s yet another fresh photo gallery we shot today up at the always popular location of Canggu. As it shows wave height was a consistent 2-4ft this morning with light and variable wind that lasted through until the ESE Trade wind kicked in around 9.15am with the start of cross / on shore wind. The local boys owned the lefts on the Sandbar section and that’s where the better waves were.
Weather wise it was mostly sunny with some scattered cloud moving through on the wind. Temperature wise it peaked at 30C around midday, perfect beach and surfing temp as always.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is calling for a slight bump in wave height and more ESE Trade wind. There will still be a bit of tide left for the early session so get in early.
Stay tuned cause we will be back out there again tomorrow keeping you in the loop with Bali.
For the surfer / fishermen out there our crew have been boating some nice fish the last few days with some huge schools churning up the surface, perfect for popping, spinning and jigging at the moment, Drop us a line if anyone wants to get hooked up.
We have a NEW SURF STORY of a surfers first experience up in the Mentawai Islands this season, worth a read for some good info.
I also want to give a warm welcome to our new sponsors from Hidden Bay Resort up in the Mentawai Island chain. Hit their banner over on the right side and check them out to see what they can offer you.
