BALI / INDONESIA
5th – 6th July 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright yesterday the 5th our man took a run a little ways up the coast to see what was or was not happening. AS it shows in today’s photos he arrived just as the ESE Trade wind was kicking in and taking the shine off the waves but there were still a few good ones to be had by the small crew that was on the scene. Wave height was in the solid 3-4ft+ class and the tide just filling in. Weather wise it was mostly overcast as it reflects in the photos.
Today the 6th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was showing a slight bump in wave height compared to the same time yesterday. 2-4 footers were breaking between Kuta reef and Airport Left with the bigger waves hitting Middle Reef. The tide was still running in at the time and the wind had already started coming out of the ESE. Not a lot of surfers hanging around down the beach but there were riders on all of the main breaks.
Weather wise today we’ve got a lot more blue sky here in the South Kuta – Kuta area and right now at 11.55am the temperature is a warm 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 68% and UV index on 4. Wind direction out of the ESE with gusts up to 30km/h
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying to expect some solid waves around Bali with a nice SW-SSW direction that should go well at most of our better locations, expect the ESE wind to be into it hard by mid morning.
Further out we will get another medium swell on the 9th and then another rolling in on the back of that one on the 12th. So it looks like Bali and most of Indo is going to be the place to be over the next week.
