Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok folks well yesterday was a tough day and due to some un forseen stuff I had to spend the day at home. I didn’t get a chance to get out and shoot some photos or even get a chance to check the waves. Our man Ketut is MIA and I;m not sure if he’ll be back, so bear with us on this for awhile. Hopefully everything will sort itself out soon.
But today the 5th and I did get a chance to take a run over to the East Coast seeing as though the Tradey was a little late kicking in. It was a pity the High tide wasn’t until around midday but anyway I turned up around 9.30am to find some super clean chest to well over head high waves breaking pretty good. There was already a solid crowd of 20-25 in the line up and it did look a little tight with a bit of a wait between set waves. But when they came through it looked like a lot of fun.
Weather wise it’s been a nice day here on the holiday island with lots of blue sky. Early morning light and variable winds before the ESE Trade wind kicked in around 10.30am and slowly built up momentum into the 25km/h range by early afternoon.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is showing wave height to possibly bump up a foot or so. Hopefully more light and variable wind for the early session before the Tradey kicks in around mid morning. The tide will be low first thing in the morning so choose your locations accordingly.
