Hello everyone and yesterday the 12th we already had our plan in place from the night before and were up early and on the road heading West. As it shows in our photo gallery wave height was a very consistent head to well over head high with a clean early morning off shore wind. The tide was just coming off the bottom of a very low 0.1mtr tide, perfect for keeping the learners on long boards cluttering it up. The waves did keep cranking through even after the wind turned light SW. And as soon as the tide did fill in over the rocks and urchins as expected it was Euro’s learning on long boards creating havoc. NB. not all European surfers are learners on longboards that’s for sure.
Another very succesful trip up the coast and back home after almost 6 hours behind the wheel. The tnings we surfers do aye.
Weather wise it was another great day to be in Bali with a clear blue sky through out the morning with light NE wind. On the way home we did run into some heavy rain near Tabanan (as usual) and the afternoon wind ws WSW.
Today the 13th and if anyone was following our morning surf reports on Twitter would already know that there were still some head to well over head high waves here along the West Coast again today. Early morning conditions were clean with a light NE breeze but now at 11.00am it’s dedicated more to the SSW and increased into the 6 – 10knot range. Still mostly blue sky over us but some cloud building towards the Southern end of the island might deliver some rain later tonight, maybe not.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying that we might see another bump in wave height. Light and variable wind for the early session before turning to the S-SSW by late morning. So get in early for the cleaner surfing conditions.
