Hello Bali people, well we have had a good run of un crowded, I mean no crowded waves the last week. The 20th and 21st were no exceptions either. In fact I can’t express just how good it is, the feeling of being out in the surf with just yourself and a mate. That’s what we have been experiencing. Don’t get me wrong. Certain area’s, beaches here in Bali have been over run with learners in some sort of wave catching frenzy and oblivious to any other surfer trying to be patient and get a wave or two. But if you can read between the lines on the swell predictions and wind forecasts, swell direction and “averages” of particular times of the year here in Bali you can still do pretty good when it comes to getting some uncrowded waves.
As it shows in our latest photo gallery there wasn’t too many surfers to include in the photos. Yesterday the 21st and we were lucky enough to have 2 other surfers come and join us just as we were coming to the end of our 3 hr session. It was such fun that even the famous Ketut Nak Bali even paddled out for a few waves. Yes when the secret forgotten West Coast delivers it really does.
Weather wise it has been damn hot. Nothing but clear blue sky and midday temperature in the mid 30’s Celsius.
We also had a New Moon rise yesterday the 21st so we will be seeing some big tiday ranges after Nypie.
Today’s Surf Forecast has perfect waves breaking at just about every location in Bali with almost.. no one out surfing.
Tomorrow’s (the 23rd) Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to be slowly backing off through out the day. We are expecting more light and variable wind through the morning before turning SSE by mid afternoon. Looking a little further out we should see a nice bump in wave height around Bali on the 25-26th.

If anyone of our regulars has an old GoPro at home they would like to donate to us at baliwaves we would be forever grateful. I did have a GoPro 7 but last year the rubber seal covering the on/off button perished and is now not water tight. Please contact me
