ARTIST STATEMENT
Helen’s art is very immediate and spontaneous. Colour seems to dictate where she goes.
Her artwork on pre-used canvas sits well with her commitment to not buying anything new
and gives her work soul.
Helen is a self-taught artist. Starting in 2019, she now paints daily. She has to. It’s as
simple and as complicated as that. An inherent, creative flair has long influenced her
career choices, none more so than her current career as a full-time artist.
