Hi Bali people and thanks for stopping by your baliwaves, keeping you in touch with your favorite holiday destination while your stuck elsewhere. Well this morning we were relying on a light and variable early morning wind. We were committed to the dawn and with a big dry low tide we never had a lot of options so we stuck it out. Arriving just after dawn to feel a fresh on shore wind in our faces. But there were waves breaking and we thought we would stick around and hope / pray for the wind to either back off or do a switcheroo.
Eventually an hour later the wind did eventually back off a little but it was just the calm before the storm sort to speak. Forty five minutes later the ESE Tradey kicked in in earnest and wiped out the waves. As it shows in a couple of our photos we shot there were a few waves and it wasn’t too bad, taking a cut in quality to get a big cut in crowd level. Ok just a quicky from us today but we will be back out there trying again tomorrow, so keep an eye on the baliwaves for the latest news.
Weather wise today it wasn’t too bad a start but I did feel a few drops of rain by mid morning. Right now at 3.40pm it’s still kind of 50/50 with the afternoon tem,p on 28C (as usual). Humidity level is at 74% and the wind is coming out of the SE at 30km/h.
The last tide this arvo was a 2.13 High at 2.33pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is saying that we might see a slight bump is wave height with a little more West in the direction. The period is also predicted to jump up to 20 seconds. We will wait and see if this makes any sense.
