Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend here on the baliwaves. Here is a few photos from the other day when we were visiting the East Coast. Keramas was the location and there were some fun little waves in the chest to well over head high range.
Yesterday the 1st of Sept and we put in another couple a hundred km/s with our 3rd trip up the West Coast to Balian. There wasn’t many other options with only limited swell and early morning low tide. Even down at Uluwatu wave height was only in the 2-3ft class and not quite enough size for decent Racetrack action. While up the coast we were surfing head to double head high plus waves with with an early morning light off shore breeze. Hence no surf report yesterday as I was pretty drained from the long drive. Well, it’s not a long drive really only a couple a hundred k’s or so but on Bali’s crowded roads it’s a real deal of crazy truck, bus and car drivers.
This morning the 2nd and we (as per our video report on facebook) were up on the black sand beach of Canggu / Pererenan. Arriving just after sun rise to find a very low tide and wave height in the waist to chest high range. As the tide started to run in we did get some better sized waves and better shape. The wind how ever was light cross shore out of the East early. Plenty of surfers in the water but there were a few nice waves with the left hand Sandbar section delivering the best of it.
We are starting to get a photo over load again so I will split a couple of locations into tomorrow’s surf report.
Weather wise this morning it was mostly over cast and a few drops of rain did fall in the Canggu area. But by 9.30am it was back to the blue sky that Bali is best known for. Right now at 3.10pm the temp is a warm 28C, humidity is at 70%. Wind direction is coming out of the SE at 29km/h.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 0.05mtr Low at 5.50pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for a slight bump in wave height and more ESE – SE wind.
