Well it’s good to be getting back to normal after the last week, it was hectic being away from the ocean for so long. But this morning the 21st we were up early with a low tide plan to get us the best waves with the least amount of surfers. As it shows in our photo gallery we didn’t do to bad. But it was hard work with a fair amount of water / swell pushing through the Sandbar on the bottom of a very low tide. Wave height just after sunrise was getting into The Gu in the head to double head high class with a hand full of surfers in the water. Mostly body boarders at that.
As the tide passed through the bottom of the low and started to run back in it was like a light switch being flick into the “on” position and then there were some nice deep and clean tube rides on offer. Might I say that the surfers getting barreled had their “high skill level” cards punched and valid. Surfing conditions stayed clean and glassy right through until 8.45am when the ESE Trade wind started to kick in and slowly increase in strength.
Weather wise it’s been a beauty with nothing but blue sky since sunrise. Right now at 4.10pm the temp is still sitting on 28C with the humidity at 75%. Wind direction is coming out of the ESE at 23km/h. ESE wind means clean and straight off shore wind between Kuta beach and Uluwatu.
The next tide today is going to be a 0.52mtr Low at 7.28pm
Next Moon Phase will be a Full Moon of the 29th of September
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to hold / maintain a similar size as today and same period. Wind direction is predicted to be a little fresher tomorrow dedicating to the SE just after sun up.
