Hello again and we are still playing photo catch up with over 2000 photos I haven’t even had time to look at (as) yet. But we will get there eventually, it’s rough when Bali has been delivering days, weeks months on end of perfect waves. Today’s gallery was shot on the 7th and as it shows we were amongst some of those perfect waves. The peak of this swell was on the 6th but there was no shortage on the 7th. I also reckon the 8th at this location was also pretty good but more like double head high sets early in the morning before backing off by late morning.
Today the 9th and we thought wave height may have been dropping off a little more so we made our way back up the West Coast pre dawn. We were happy to see wave height hadn’t backed off here with head to double head high plus waves hitting the A frame peaks. Good clean early morning conditions before the ESE-SE Trade wind started to kick in around mid morning. Not so many surfers there today either only counting 2-25 surfers spread through the whole line up.
Weather wise it has been a good one with pretty much just blue sky all day. Right now at 4.40pm the temp is still a warm 28C,humidity is at 76%. Wind direction is coming from the SE at 28km/h.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to keep sliding with the period dropping from 13 to 12 seconds. While the wind is again predicted to be similar to today, mostly ESE-SE.
