Another sunny Sunday here in Bali and there was still some fun waves available for everyone. We made a run up to the Gu this morning around 8.00am to find there were some fun sized 3 to 3ft+ waves breaking on the Sandbar and river mouth sections as the tide filled in. Surfing conditions were still at their best with the aid of a light Northerly off shore breeze. Unfortunately for all the surfers at the Gu there was some kind of retro board competition running on the sandbar which had the best waves breaking but all the other sections up there were good to go.
Here in South Kuta there were also a few waves on the Outer reefs with Airport Left the best on offer this morning. Down on the bukit Uluwatu had standing room only with 2-4 ft waves hitting the Main Peak.
Weather wise it’s been another very warm day here on the holiday island and just what you would be hoping for if you were here on holidays. Temperature wise right now at 4.30pm it’s still 31C with the humidity at 69%. Wind direction was light and variable early this morning before dedicating to the SE-SSE.
The next tide today in Bali today is going to be a very dry reef exposing 0.24 at 4.42pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is showing a very distinct bump in wave height with the wave period also reflecting the same. Jumping from 12 seconds this morning to 17 second tomorrow morning.
