Thanks to our man Ketut for keeping us all in the loop with another photo dump direct to my lappy. Ok, so now we are up to December and after a few more back ups we are going to be back to current images etc. November folks was just a painful blur for me of poorly managed pain control from my behalf. But thanks to the professionals here in the JHH I have come such a along way. It’s been such a whirlwind ride for me with no time or luxury of gentle reality information, just how it is and whats going down.
That’s where I am anyway. missing my Family and Friends in Bali but blown away by the amount of visitors and support I’m getting here.
So, today’s photos were shot last week over on the East Coast at the black sand beach that we love so much. Ketut was calling perfect 3-5 footers peeling off for a 100-200mtrs and a clen and light off shore wind that went well into mid morning. Pretty normal crowd levels and well spread out.
Today 11th and wave height would still be a nice 3-5ft at the better known locations I reckon. Not the best wind predicted for today with it mostly coming out of the S-SW quadrants. Today’s wave period was still a respectable 15-16 seconds but will be dropping back down to 12-13 seconds by tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow’s wind prediction is looking better with a return to the early morning light and variable N-NW before dedicating more to the WSW-SW by early afternoon.
Alright friends of Bali thanks for all your support and I am looking forward to having this in my past very soon and back in Bali with all my Family & Friends again.
Ketut is still taking surfers to find their best Bali waves while I’m caught up in hospital. So drop us a line and you can be cruising with Ketut and all his local surf friends when ever you are ready. God knows my family are going to be down deep in Dr / hospital bills when the smoke clears.
