14th-16th June 2025
Over the last three days, Ketut’s been covering ground from the Bukit to the East Coast, chasing what’s been a steady run of small-to-fun surf across Bali. Conditions stayed fairly consistent from Saturday through Monday, with 2 to 4 foot waves, offshore wind each morning, and a mix of weather. Everything from patchy rain to sunny spells.
Saturday kicked off at Balangan, where 3ft surf and cloudy skies with rain set the tone. The crowd was solid with surf school groups, and while the swell was a bit small and inconsistent, there were still plenty of rideable one filtering through if you could dodge some people.
Sunday saw an improvement in both form and conditions at Canggu with 3ft clean surf. About 30 surfers were on it at the Sandbar, and local standout Darma Putra Tonjo was picking the good ones out. With sunshine overhead and strong offshore wind, it was the pick of the three days.
Monday wrapped things up at Keramas, which was quieter but equally clean. The 2-3ft waves were smaller and less energy, but the offshore wind kicked in by 9AM, holding things together nicely. Just two surfers were out early, gradually building to a mellow crew of around 15 by 10AM, a nice contrast to the packed peaks of the few days day before.
Today in Denpasar it’s 30°C, with scattered clouds and a steady breeze from the southeast at 19 km/h. Rain is expected later in the afternoon. Today, the low tide is at 7:31PM with a depth of 0.4 metres. Tomorrow, Tuesday 17 June, starts with a low tide at 7:14AM reaching 0.9 metres, followed by a high tide at 1:37AM at 2.2 metres, then a low tide again at 8:09PM at 0.5 metres.
Looking ahead, the swell is expected to build gradually on Tuesday, then drop in the middle of the week, before picking up again Friday thru Sunday with those days shaping up to be the standout days. Consistent offshore winds are forecast to continue each morning. Expect waves in the 1.8 to 2.1 metre range by the end of the week, with long periods and clean conditions across both east and west coasts.
