Canggu was pumping this morning with 3 to 4 foot clean sets breaking across the main peaks. The river mouth was the pick early on with about 20 surfers out, while the sandbar had 10 in the mix, taking advantage of the offshore breeze and fun walls.
Ketut was back on the lens after a few days away in the village, and it lined up nicely for him. Winds were strong and offshore, blowing steady from first light and grooming the surf all the way through his session between 7AM and 10AM. The skies were cloudy but dry.
Currently in Denpasar, it’s 30°C with scattered clouds, feeling like 35°C, and winds from the southeast at 20 km/h. Humidity is holding at 70%, with passing showers and patchy sun expected this arvo Upcoming tides today, low tide at 5:11PM, bottoming at 0.2 metres, and then tomorrow, we have a high tide at 10:59AM reaching 2.5 metres followed by a low tide at 5:44PM at 0.2 metres.
The swell is holding steady with wave heights around 1.7 to 1.9 metres, lining up well with clean offshores throughout tomorrow morning. It’s forecast to ease a bit by Friday, but another small bump is shaping up for late Sunday through early next week. No major shifts in swell direction, so west-facing breaks like Canggu should continue to perform.
