A quick session at Bingin this morning served up exactly what you’d hope for, 3 to 4 foot sets, clean lines, and barrels on offer with the right tide. Ketut was on the beach from 8AM until 10AM, catching a tidy window as the swell pushed through with just 15 surfers in the water around 9AM. Conditions were lightly cloudy, but there was no rain and the offshore winds kept everything clean. It wasn’t too crowded, the mood was mellow, and the reef was doing its thing. Classic Bingin.
This afternoon, Denpasar is overcast at 29°C, feeling like 33°C, with a southeasterly wind at 11 km/h and 76% humidity.
Tonight, expect continued cloud with temps holding around the high 20s.
Here’s what the tides are doing: This evening’s low tide is at 8:48PM, dropping to 0.7 metres, tomorrow starts with a high tide at 3:19AM at 1.8 metres, a low tide at 8:45AM at 1.1 metres, and a high tide mid arvo at 2:48PM at 1.9 metres.
The surf forecast is stacked all week. Bingin should benefit directly from the upcoming bump — Tuesday and Wednesday see sets in the 1.7 to 2.4 metre range, with periods around 16–17 seconds and consistent offshore mornings. Thursday will still see waves in the 2 metre range before tapering slightly into the weekend. The swell returns again Sunday into Monday — another pulse on the way with good winds.
