Canggu was on point this morning with solid 4 foot sets, groomed by a steady offshore breeze and pumping through with great consistency. Ketut was at the beach from 7AM to 10AM, and both the river mouth and sandbar were putting on a proper show.
Crowd-wise, it was full but manageable, 25 surfers out at the river mouth and 15 at sandbar. And it wasn’t just your average crew: local pros Kian Martin, Darma Wisesa, and Kadek Murtika were out making the most of the conditions, slotting into the best of it and setting the pace.
This evening in Denpasar it’s still warm at 30°C with scattered clouds, and a southeasterly breeze around 9 km/h. Humidity is sitting at 68%, with steady light rain expected through the night.
Tonight’s high tide hits at 7:32PM, peaking at 1.6 metres. Tomorrow starts with a high tide at 7:25AM at 2.1 metres, followed by a low tide at 2:10PM at 0.8 metres, and a high tide again at 8:26PM at 1.6 metres.
Heading into the weekend, the swell will ease on Friday, but will then build into Sunday where we’re expecting consistent 1.9 to 2 metre swell and long periods around 16–17 seconds. Winds stay clean through the mornings with more surf lining up into early next week.
