Canggu turned it on this morning with 3 to 4 foot sets, holding their shape nicely with steady offshore winds. Ketut hit the beach at 7AM and stayed through till 11AM, capturing clean conditions across both Sandbar and Echo Beach. There were only about 10 surfers at each peak, which made for an unusually relaxed Sunday session. Skies were cloudy but dry, and the mid-morning tide push gave it just the right amount of water. No pros or local legends spotted today, just cruisy lines and that rare Bali combo of good waves and space to move.
This afternoon (coming up to 5pm) it’s 30°C in Denpasar with scattered clouds, feels like 36°C, and southeasterly winds at 13 km/h. Humidity is at 71%, with a few showers expected later on.
Tide update:
• This evening’s low tide is at 8:02PM, dropping to 0.5 metres
• Tomorrow, brings a low tide at 7:36AM at 1.0 metres, a high tide at 1:57PM at 2.1 metres, and another low at 8:48PM at 0.7 metres
The surf forecast is showing a steady swell holding at 2 metres, with favourable offshore winds each morning through midweek. Periods stay around 16–17 seconds, so expect plenty of energy on the sets. By Wednesday, a bump pushes through peaking around 2.4 metres, with clean early conditions likely. Canggu and other west coast spots should keep delivering.
