It was a good one at Keramas this morning, with 2 to 3 foot waves rolling in under sunny skies and a building crowd. Ketut was on the beach from 7AM until 11AM, and while the energy was on the lower side, the surf had just enough push for some clean fun waves.
The wind stayed offshore until about 10AM, giving a nice window for clean conditions. After that it swung onshore, but surprisingly it held up ok. By mid-morning there were around 20 surfers out, taking advantage of the conditions before the wind shift.
This afternoon in Denpasar it’s 28°C with scattered clouds, feeling like 31°C. Winds are from the southeast at 11 km/h, humidity is 67%, and conditions are staying mostly dry into the evening
Tonight’s low tide is at 8:50PM, dropping to 0.60 metres. Tomorrow brings a low tide at 9:16AM dropping to 1.00 metre, followed by a high tide at 3:29PM at 1.90 metres
The swell continues to hover in the 1.3 to 1.6 metre range for the next couple of days, with offshore or light variable winds most mornings. It looks like a stronger push is due to arrive Friday, with swell lifting into the 2.0 to 2.2 metre zone and holding through the weekend and into early next week. Consistent morning offshores should keep conditions favourable.
