A mellow start to the week with 3-4ft waves rolling through Canggu this morning. Ketut was on the beach from 7 to 10am, under scattered clouds and a steady offshore breeze. There were about 20 surfers at Sandbar and another 10 on the right-hander in front of the river. Conditions were fairly clean, with mid-morning tides lining things up nicely and no real crowd dramas to speak of, just a cruisy Bali Monday with plenty of waves on tap.
Weather & Tides
The current conditions in Denpasar are 28°C with scattered clouds. Winds are blowing from the southeast at 19 km/h, humidity sits at 72%, and it feels like 32°C. The forecast high is 30°C with rain likely from early evening onward.
We’ve got a low tide of 0.8m at 7:41AM followed by a high tide of 2.1m at 1:49PM.
Surf Forecast
The swell continues with some waves forecast to continue all week before fading into Saturday. Expect wave heights around 1.4-1.7 metres , with long-period swell from the SW . Winds are looking fresh again from the ESE so it’ll stay offshore for the west coast, though there’s still some rain lingering early. All signs point to another decent morning session tomorrow and a decent week ahead.
