It was a mellow one this morning at Keramas with 2 foot waves and the odd 3 foot set sneaking through. The swell was small but the shape was good, thanks to steady offshore winds. Ketut hit the sand at 7AM and stayed till 10AM, there were only 10 surfers were out around 8AM. No rush in the water, no real traffic on the way in, just one of those cruisy, early dry-season mornings.
As of early evening it’s 30°C in Denpasar with partly sunny skies and southeasterly winds at 15 km/h. Feels like 35°C with 72% humidity, typical warm and breezy arvo setup.
Tides from here:
• Tonight’s low tide is at 9:40PM, at 0.9 metres
• Tomorrow, brings a low tide at 10:35AM down to 1.2 metres, then a high tide at 3:59PM hitting 1.7 metres
The surf forecast chart shows the swell building fast, and tomorrow morning will see a strong jump to 2.4 metres, holding solid into Thursday and then easing Friday with consistent 16 second periods. Winds are looking great in the mornings all week, with offshore or light ESE flow throughout the window. Friday still looks fun with 1.6 metre sets, before it eases slightly through the on Saturday, but then kicks in again Sunday. Consistent surf, offshore mornings, and another good run into early next week.
