29th July 2025
Balangan was turning it on this morning with 3ft waves and light crowds. From 9am to 11am, conditions were clean under sunny skies, and that steady offshore wind had things lining up nicely across the reef. A couple of intermediate surfers were out taking advantage of the tidy peaks, and a few learners were hanging inside the lineup. Traffic heading up the Bukit was a little heavy, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Weather & Tides
It’s currently 26°C and overcast, with a steady southeast wind blowing at 17 km/h. Humidity is at 76%, there’s been scattered passing showers and temps peaked at 28°C. Tomorrow’s looking drier with similar wind.
There’s a low tide around 8.34am dropping to 0.7m, then we’ll see a high at 2.31pm reaching 1.6m followed by an evening low tide at 8.15pm dipping to 0.6m.
Surf Forecast
The swell forecast is showing tomorrow will be the smallest day, before a new pulse that’ll arrive on Monday and continue to build into Wednesday hitting 3m – solid energy for Uluwatu, Impossibles and all the Bukit reefs. Conditions stay pretty glassy in the mornings with offshore winds early, but there may be showers in the evenings.
