A sunny start to the day yesterday over at Padma Beach in Legian with light crowd numbers and a fresh offshore breeze holding the shape together. Waves were breaking around the 3ft mark, with clean sets rolling through from 8am to 10am. It wasn’t packed, just a handful of surfers out enjoying the conditions. The wind was blowing strong from the southeast but stayed offshore for the session. The sandbanks were doing their thing, and although a little rippy in the middle, it was still lining up well enough for a few longer rides. Good visibility, warm temps and classic morning light kept things cruisy on the sand.
Weather & Tides
Today was overcast but warm, with temps sitting around 27–28°C during the day. Wind from the southeast pushing in at 19km/h and humidity around 72%. Late afternoon and evening rain is likely, but the morning will likely stay dry.
Tomorrow morning will be a low of 0.6m at 8:08am, then climbing to a high of 2.0m at 2:19pm before dropping into a 0.5m low at 8:18pm.
Surf Forecast
The swell forecast for Thursday looks promising with wave heights in the 1.8 to 2.5 metre range, and energy holding strong from the SSW. Periods are building from around 13 to 17 seconds, which should keep sets consistent. Winds are forecast to stay light to moderate from the east southeast, giving offshore conditions most of the day. Swell still on track to bring sets pushing 3 metres from Friday onwards.
