Ketut was back at Canggu yesterday morning for a quick shoot between 7 and 10am. The surf was again in the 2-3ft range, with fun, clean conditions and light offshore wind keeping it smooth through the morning. Low tide early exposed some sandbanks along the beach, offering a few workable peaks across Sandbar and the river mouth. It was a bit busy along the shore despite the smaller size, with around 25–30 surfers out chasing the better-shaped waves.
Weather & Tides
Today’s weather is warm and humid across Bali, with temperature sitting at 27-30°C and humidity around 84%. Light offshore winds from the east-southeast holding until late morning before easing. Expect scattered rain and possible thunderstorms later this afternoon as the cloud builds.
For tides, we’ve gone past the morning low tide at 6:50AM around 0.2m, the high tide is due around 1:04PM at 1.5m.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead, the swell forecast is showing small but clean surf continues over the next few days with 2-3ft waves at the west coast spots, and a few bigger sets on the east coast as the swell angle turns a touch more south. A fresh SW-SSW pulse is due to build from Tuesday afternoon, peaking around Wednesday-Thursday with 4-5ft sets expected. Winds should stay light and offshore early, weather looks patchy through Tuesday with heavy rain and isolated storms likely overnight, then clearing into the weekend.
