A full day on the road for Ketut and crew yesterday with a run up to Balian Beach. The crew left early around 5am, making the most of a good run north before setting up for the midmorning tide. The surf was sitting around 3ft on a small swell, but the conditions were clean and sunny all day.
Despite the smaller swell, Balian was still a bit busy, with plenty of surfers keen to grab a few before the next pulse arrives. The offshore wind kept the faces smooth and tidy, making for fun, rippable walls across the main peak. A few punchier sets rolled through late morning, adding just enough push to keep everyone smiling.
The drive home was a slow one with a bit of traffic through Tabanan, but overall, a solid day out with good energy in the water and sunny skies the whole way.
