31st October 2025
It was a good morning for a reef run on Friday with Ketut heading out to Airport Right just after sunrise, the reef was lighting up with clean, glassy 3ft waves under light offshore wind.
The tide was heading from high to low through the morning, making for soft but very tidy walls peeling down the reef. There were around 25 surfers out by 10am, and plenty of waves to go around between the take-off zones. The inside section was a bit fat early, but once the tide started easing, it opened up for a few nice runners across the shoulder.
The vibe in the lineup was mellow, and conditions stayed clean right through until late morning before the clouds began to roll in. Another good session at one of Bali’s most accessible reef breaks.
Weather & Tides
Today stayed mostly dry and overcast around Denpasar, with temperatures around 27-30°C and humidity sitting at 84%. Winds were light from the southeast early before easing into the afternoon.
Tomorrow morning we have a high around 8:27AM (1.8m) and a low tide around 2:18PM (0.6m), the evening high will hit at 8:40PM (2.2m).
Surf Forecast
The swell forecast is showing that the next few days look promising for the west coast with steady 3-4ft surf and light offshore winds continuing through midweek. A new southwest swell is due to build from Thursday onward, peaking around Friday-Saturday with sets reaching the 4–5ft range across the Bukit and Kuta Reef stretch. Winds remain favourable from the southeast, and mornings should stay glassy before the afternoon rain cells build up again.
