Ketut made the run to Balian Beach on Sunday morning where the surf was holding a steady 3-4ft with smooth offshore wind grooming the lines. Despite a few light showers and at times overcast skies, conditions stayed clean with plenty of solid sets pushing through the main peak.
The early morning session saw the best of it, with glassy faces and long workable walls running across the reef. Crowds were moderate and taking advantage of the consistent swell. The wind stayed offshore through most of the morning before turning variable by late afternoon.
Even with the grey skies and scattered rain, it was another classic Balian day – consistent, powerful, and plenty of fun for those who made the drive north.
