Canggu Surf Report – 3rd December 2025
The swell held a solid 4 foot this morning at Canggu, with a bit of push on the high tide just after sunrise. Sandbar had some fun walls early, although the banks were a little stretched out at times. Conditions were cloudy with patches of rain drifting through, but the offshore kept everything tidy enough to throw up some clean faces between sets. The river peak had around twenty surfers out and another dozen rotated through Sandbar, so it was busy but still manageable if you were patient. The wind stayed light from the east–southeast through the morning, keeping the surface nice and smooth while the tide slowly eased back.
The rain came and went, but it didn’t seem to bother anyone too much and there were plenty of smiles in the water. A few nice ramps popped up on the inside as the tide dropped.
Weather & Tides
This afternoon is sitting at 28 degrees with thunderstorms across the island, overcast skies and onshore wind around 22 km/h from the southeast. Humidity is sitting at 74 percent with a bit more rain expected into the evening.
For tomorrow Thursday 4th December, the tide chart shows a 9.40am high at 1.7 metres, then dropping again into a 0.7-metre low at 2.52pm.
Surf Forecast
The swell forecast shows the current pulse backing off slightly over the next day or two, but there’s still plenty of leftover swell to keep Canggu ticking over. Expect a slow fade through Thursday and Friday before a fresh little bump fills in toward the weekend. Nothing huge, but enough to keep the magnets alive. Light variable winds through the mornings should offer a clean start most days, with the usual onshore texture creeping in later. Another slightly stronger pulse looks to arrive early next week, so there’s more to look forward to.
