Canggu Surf Report – Wednesday 15th April 2026
Ketut was back at Canggu this morning, checking in on a smaller 3ft swell rolling in from the SW. Wind was light offshore through the early part of the morning keeping the wave faces fairly clean, and with just a handful of surfers out it was a relaxed start to the day. The swell period was sitting around 14 seconds which helped the waves stand up a touch and line up across the reef a bit better than the size alone would suggest. A few fun ones getting through on the bigger sets.
As the tide filled toward the high around 9:32am, Ketut mentioned the crowd built up noticeably with things getting a bit busier in the water. A few more surfers arrived through the mid morning window making it a little more competitive for the better sets. The wave count stayed decent though, with enough getting through to keep everyone busy. Ketut reported it was a good early morning run overall with clean conditions holding well while the tide was still on the way up.
Weather & Tides
Right now it’s sitting around 29C with clear sunny skies and the offshore winds holding through the morning. On the tides, the water was filling in through the early morning, pushing toward the 9:32am high, which likely brought a few extra surfers out as the tide came up. The next low is due around 3:42pm this afternoon before the tide builds back up again around 9:55pm tonight.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead, the swell forecast for Thursday should see similar conditions with waves in the 3 to 4ft range on a 13 second swell period. Friday and Saturday both look to hold around 4ft as the swell maintains through the end of the week. Not a lot of size on offer but a steady enough run with the offshore winds likely to help in the mornings.
