Canggu Surf Report – Friday 19th June 2026
Ketut was at Canggu on Friday morning for a check on the day’s surf. Wave height was sitting around 3 foot, a little on the small side, but the conditions were making up for it. Light offshore winds were holding and keeping the wave faces tidy, and with a bit of sun out it was a reasonable morning to be in the water. Crowd wise it was already a bit of a scene at Sandbar by the time the morning low tide hit, with surfers making the most of the cleaner conditions early.
Weather & Tides
Right now it’s sitting around 25C in Canggu with sunny skies and light offshore winds about. On the tides, the low came through around 8am on Friday morning which is when it got busy. The next high was due around 2pm before easing back again through the late afternoon and evening, with another low expected around 8pm. That filling tide through mid-morning kept enough water over the reef to keep the waves workable into the afternoon.
Surf Forecast
As for the coming days, there is a bit more size in the pipeline. Sunday looks like it could push to around 5 foot with a south swell and a period just under 10 seconds. Monday eases a little to 4 to 5 foot before Tuesday sees another pulse tracking through at 5 foot with a longer period swell around 14 seconds from the south, which should give it a bit more punch. Check the swell forecast for the full picture. Early mornings before the local winds build should be the cleanest window.
