Keramas Surf Report – Wednesday 17th June 2026
Ketut was over at Keramas on the East Coast this morning, catching the session on Galungan Day, one of the biggest ceremony days in the Balinese calendar. Wave height was sitting around 2 to 4 foot with some decent sets getting through on a long-period south swell. Light offshore winds kept conditions clean throughout the morning and around 16 surfers were out making the most of what was on offer.
Conditions held up well through the session with Ketut reporting that things were in pretty good shape overall. The longer swell period helped the waves line up nicely across the reef, giving surfers plenty of room to work. Crowd wise it stayed manageable at around 16 for most of the morning. As the tide continued to push through, the waves kept their shape and there were some good sets getting through right up to the end of the session. A fun morning on the East Coast all round.
Weather & Tides
Right now it’s sitting around 25C out there with the offshore winds holding light and the sky staying clear. On the tides today, the water was running down through the afternoon toward a low at around 5:55 this evening. The next high is due around 12:18am tonight before easing back to a low at 5:35am, with the next daytime high building toward midday tomorrow which should keep enough water over the reef for the morning sessions.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead, the swell is set to build with 4 to 5 foot surf expected Thursday and pushing up toward 5 to 6 foot by Friday. Saturday looks like the pick of the run with some solid 6 foot sets possible off a long-period south swell, so it’s worth checking the surf forecast for the full picture. Early mornings are going to be the best window before local winds build through the day.
