Keramas Surf Report – Monday 8th June 2026

Ketut was on the East Coast early Monday morning (sorry, I’m a bit late with this one) with wave height sitting around 2 to 4 foot on most sets, with the odd bigger one pushing through on the longer period swell. Wind was light offshore from the start and conditions were clean across the reef. Around 20 surfers were in the water when Ketut arrived and the crowd stayed manageable through the session.

Ketut mentioned the waves were running a bit slow on the sets but when they came through they were lining up nicely across the reef with the offshore keeping the faces clean. The longer swell period, around 13 seconds, helped the better sets stand up on the peak. As the morning went on and the tide started draining from the 6am high, the reef shallowed out a little and gave the waves a bit more shape. The 20 or so surfers in the water were spread out enough that there were still plenty of waves getting through for everyone.

Weather & Tides

Out there today it was around 24C and clear with light offshore winds holding steady through the morning. The tide was coming off a 6am high and draining through the whole session, with the low due around 12:52pm this afternoon. That draining tide helped the waves line up a bit better as the morning went on. The water fills back in later this afternoon with the next high coming in around 6:55pm, which should keep things going for an evening session.

Surf Forecast

Looking ahead, there is a decent jump in swell on the way from Thursday with 5 to 6 foot sets forecast and holding through Friday and Saturday. That is a step up from the current 2 to 4 foot, and with 14 to 15 second periods on the incoming swell it should push some size through the East Coast.
