Keramas Surf Report – Tuesday 30th June & Wednesday 1st July 2026
Ketut was over at Keramas earlier in the week, catching two solid days on the East Coast. On the 30th the wave height was running 3 to 5 foot with a few bigger sets pushing through, and by the 1st it had eased slightly to 3 to 4 foot. Wind stayed light offshore both mornings, keeping the faces clean, and the word from Ketut was that there were a couple of pro surfers mixing it up with around 20 others in the water.
Conditions held up nicely across the two days. Ketut mentioned the offshore wind held steady through the morning window, so the wave shape didn’t drop off much as the tide worked its way through. Crowd wise it stayed manageable with everyone finding room for their waves.
Weather & Tides
Out there right now it’s sitting around 25C with the water a touch warmer at 27C, and skies staying mostly clear through the session. On the tides, Keramas had a low around 5:56pm draining out before building back through the evening to a high near 12:17am, then another low near 5:31am ahead of the next high around 11:51am, which should be the better window for that extra push of water across the reef.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead the swell is due to build again, with Friday sitting around 5 foot before stepping up to a solid 5 to 6 foot through the weekend and holding there into Sunday. Swell periods are lengthening out into the 13 to 15 second range too, so there should be more power behind it than what came through this week. Check the swell forecast for the full picture, but early mornings should still be the pick before the wind has a chance to do anything to the faces.
