BALI
1st – 3rd June 2015
Hello everyone and glad you found the time to stop by the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the Worlds No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so we have just about caught up on all our surfing photo back log, I tell ya there was so many good waves going down here in Indonesia. Well our current 100+ photo gallery features some waves from Canggu here on the West side and the second half featuring the Padma St beach breaks of legian, also here on the West Coast. You can see from the photos that surfing conditions have been pretty good with some fun sized waves breaking.
Today the 3rd of June and our 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height to be breaking in the 1-2ft range between Kuta reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind light and variable, tide low. Ketut and I went down to give our jukung (Balinese style 8mtr double outrigger fishing boat) a clean up and couldn’t help noticing that wave height was starting to creep up into the 2-3ft+ range on the Outer Reefs. So it’s looking good for waves tomorrow and a solid new swell in transit for Saturday and Sunday that might even have Padang Padang breaking, fingers crossed.
Weather wise today it was a mostly cloudy morning with the sun dominating the sky by midday. We have even been getting some over night rain the last few nights.
Alright then stay tuned and we’ll keep you up dated through out tomorrow via our social media pages.
