BALI / INDONESIA
4th July 2015
Hello folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for the latest news and our best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok everyone just a quick one today seeing as though it’s Saturday night and I guess there won’t be too many of you sitting in front of your computer right. But anyway for those of you that are checking into the baliwaves here’s 32 photos that w shot today over on the East Coast this morning at Secrets, and midday at Balangan.
Our team turned up on the East side around 6.45AM to find some super clean and tidy little left and right handers in the 2-4ft range. And the beautiful thing about it was that there was only 5 other surfers in the water. Surfing conditions remained clean and tidy through to roughly 9.00AM when the wind slowly switched to the SE Trade wind. I also heard around the same time there were 2ft waves at Keramas with 10 – 15 surfers in the water.
From there we decided to head down to the southern end of Bali to Balangan, at least for lunch and just maybe a second session in the water. Balangan with the full tide was pretty fat and small but there were still a few fun little lefts breaking for the boys and girls in attendance.
Weather wise today it’s been just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island, but you already knew it would be didn’t you.
Ok this morning I also loaded up some sick photos from the swell of the year taken by our friends at the Kandui Surf Resort in the Mentawai Island and also a short photo gallery from our mates at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Resort. So that’ll give ya’s a bit more to check out ok.
