BALI / INDONESIA
21st -22nd September 2015
Hello peeps and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf trip since back in 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well as you know the perfect waves just keep going and going here in Bali, and I mean just about every day of the year, year after year. Yesterday was no different either. We kicked off with a mandatory 6.30AM surf check on the Outer reefs that was showing wave height in the 2-3ft+ sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running down at the tome so Midle Reefs was where the action was. Middle’s always picks up that extra bit of size compared to Kuta Reef and Airports. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with a light ENE wind.
But as it shows in today’s filthy tube riddled photo gallery we took the bus down to bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Just in time to catch the low tide Racetrack section peeling off pretty well perfectly, hardly a drop of water out of place on the track. Crowd wise it the numbers were also down low and surfing conditions could not have been any cleaner.
Weather wise it was your typical Bali hot and sunny type of day, perfect beach weather as usual.
This morning the 22nd it’s just gone 5.15AM and we are dosing up on caffeine and getting ready to go find some more waves at.. Ketut is also going to be heading down to Bingin later this morning for the Bingin Boardriders Open surfing contest and hopefully he will be bringing home a truck load of photos. So keep an eye on the baliwaves for further up dates through out the day.
The next tide today will be a 0.8mtr Low around 10.00AM
