BALI / INDONESIA
24th September 2015
Hey peeps and another big thank you for tuning into the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little tropical surfing holiday island that’s got something for everyone, Bali.
Ok friends this mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height had dropped down into the 1-3ft range between Kuta reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running in at the time and the wind was light out of the ENE.
So as it shows in today’s photos gallery our team headed back up the coast to Canggu. Arriving at 7.45AM to find waves breaking on all 3 sections in the 2-4ft class. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind still light off shore until the SE Tradey started to kick in around 10.00AM. Today we were also lucky enough to have a lighter than usual crowd in the water and not as many zombies wandering around. Our guests were also lucky enough to be on the scene for a Hindu Melasti ceremony on the beach in front of the sand bar which had 100’s of Balinese in attendance.
Our free to view baliwaves Surf Cam was also showing some 2-3 footers breaking down on Impossible’s
Weather wise it was pretty hot up at Canggu and hardly a cloud in the sky while we were on the scene. Temperature wise the mercury would have had to have busted into the 30’s on the Celsius scale.

Ok folks that’s us for today and seeing as though wave height is expected to back off another notch or two tomorrow I think Ketut and I will push the double out rigger down to the water and see how the sport fishing scene in doing
