Clean and glassy this morning at Uluwatu, 10th October 2015

Hello everyone and welcome back to your baliwaves (working through the weekends since back in 1999) for the latest news and our best views from here on the happy little tropical surfing holiday destination that has something for everyone, Bali.

Right so we were up early again this morning and on the road just as the sun was popping up over the horizon with a nice blue back ground. We did a last minute change of plan and headed down to the Southern end of the island to Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Arriving down there at 6.50AM to find wave height in the 2-4ft+ class and only a hand full of surfer in the water. I wouldn’t call it perfect Ulu or even close to it but surfing conditions were clean and glassy and the numbers made it worth the effort.

By 9.30AM the wind shifted to the West but that didn’t really make any change to surfing conditions. Then just after 11.30 it shifted right around to the ESE and back to off shore. That’s what is going to happen from here on in that SE Trade wind is just going to start arriving later and later each day until it just doesn’t happen as the season starts to change.

I also have to say that with the current Euro surfing thing that is happening I met the rudest bastards I’ve ever seen today in the warung at Ulu where I’ve been hanging out since day 1, they made us Aussie’s look like proper gentlemen…. bahahahahahaha !!!!

Weather wise it’s been another hot and sunny Saturday and right now at 3.30PM the temperature is still a warm 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 75%.
Wind direction is outta the SE at 12 – 17knot.
