BALI / INDONESIA
15th – 16th October 2015
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you excited about your next Indo surf mission since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Ok so here’s another truck load of photos that Ketut shot down at Uluwatu plus he also managed to shoot a few photos from above the cliff over looking Impossibles and Bingin plus one or two from the Padang Padang bridge. Wave height down at Uluwatu was generally in the 2-3ft range with some slightly over head sets hitting the Main Peak and Temple’s every now and again.
Yesterday the 16th and seeing as though it was my last day of leisure I thought I’d push the boat back down for another shot at live baiting some Spaniards. Even though I tied all the tricks I knew I never had any luck with only one strike all day that missed the hooks. But I can tell you that some new swell did show up with the Outer Reefs of Tuban delivering some 3-4ft waves and at one stage when I was in close to the reef I went over a couple of solid double head high set waves towards sun set.
This morning the 17th and wave height has already started to back off a little but there were still some 4ft set waves hitting Middle Reef when we checked at 6.45AM. The tide was still too low for Kuta Reef and Airport Left & Right. But as that tide starts to fill in around mid morning there should be some nice waves on all 4 of the main sections on the Outer reefs of Tuban.
I’m going to take my crew over to the East side and see what’s happening over there so keep an eye on our twitter and Instagram feeds through out the day for more up dates.
Weather wise here in Bali this morning it’s a good looking day coming on with loads of blue sky. Right now at 7.45AM the temperature is at 27 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 76%. Wind direction is coming out of the NNE at 1-2knot.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.1mtr High at 12.00 noon.
Not sure about where to stay or where the best waves for you will be on your next Bali surfing holiday then you had better follow this link and see what we can offer you.
