BALI / INDONESIA
21st – 22nd October 2015
Hi folks and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf mission since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the happy little tropical surf riddled island that’s got something for everyone, Bali.
Surf surf surf seems to be the call here in Bali and that’s what we have been doing. Yesterday the 21st we were over on Bali’s East side sampling some clean and glassy early season waves. We turned up around 7.15AM to find some perfect left and rights peeling off in the head to almost double head high range. Surfing conditions were also pure glass and there were only maybe a total of 10 surfers scattered through the line up, well where we were anyway.
Today the 22nd and we’d though we’d slip under the radar back down to the bukit here on the West side of the island and try our luck again for some less numbers in the water. So we made our destination at 7.15AM to find more of those clean and glassy chest to head high with a couple of over head freak sets peeling off to the left. We even managed to be the first surfers in the water so there was no shortage of waves for the boys. The wind was light outta the NW but surfing conditions were clean and glassy. It wasn’t until after midday that the SE Trade wind kicked in and when it did it kicked hard with some afternoon gusts into the 20knot range.
Weather wise the last couple of days here on the holiday island it’s just been hot and sunny, what else is there in Bali right.
Ok we’ve got another early start again tomorrow but… I’m not sure where we are heading to (yeah right bahahaha). So stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report website.
Oh yeah and hows this for a strike rate, our Real Estate section on baliwaves has just ticked off another property as SOLD. So if you want to sell something here in Bali make sure you contact us first. That’s if you want to target people who dig Bali big time.
Sampai jumpa besok (see you tomorrow)
